Very cool. What's the asking price? Curious more than a serious buyer. Although if the price is good.

Looking for a late 80's to early 90's, preferably Arctic White Pearl MLX 14x14 floor tom.

Apparently Mikey is more of a flipper than a collector. (Who in their right mind would want to sell those after acquiring them?) .....unless they have a personal policy of never keeping/collecting anything other than American.

Of course, finances dictate more than we would like.

Point being - that is a UNIQUE kit. 3 ways:

-wrap

-Royal Star

-club style (less common in MIJ land)

I do not allow myself to keep any kit that is not unique in some way. All of my keepers meet a criteria to some level.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

I am a collector indeed

but have only so much bread to spend collecting

I like having the matching snare when in the upper range price wise

Though of course I would much perfer having the floor tom over the snare

If I was looking at buying only three pieces

I really love the gold wrap and the Royal Star badges

I see the stage band style fairly often

my collection being about forty percent stage band style

Its murder finding the t rods sometimes
