Gus hasn't chimed in for awhile... Gus, if you're out there, did I guess right on the three-pronged thingy?

Fascinating stuff. I can't tell you how much fun I'm having going through all this stuff, trying to figure out what it all is and what it's for. We're also adding to the W&A story. So little is known about the company's history.

Drum bum Heaven... :p

Too many great drums to list here!

Dang, I went through my parts stash and didn't come up with even one vintage parade drum claw. If anybody has one, or one of the claw ends that Jeremy posted a photo of earlier, I can cut off the thread part and use the claw.

Let me know here, or in a PM

If using the right hand doesn't work, try the left! :p

John, I'll ask the guys in at Dale's this week. One of the guys recently found a 28" bass drum from the '30s made by Wilson Bros/Wilson Drum Co. from Chicago that has similar rods, claws etc to your W&A. Also that stick holder will come out nice after a roll in the vibrator!

Mick - Let me know if Dale's has one!

Scott- When I saw it I didn't know what to think. It was spread open and it did look like a bubble maker thing. It was only when I folded it together that it hit me, stick holder! Maybe I'll use it to make bubbles anyway! :p

It's a cool old thing though, isn't it?

John I just noticed those slick bass drum spur legs! Everytime I read through this I see something new that I missed. Those ISO feet work great too. Man this kit has it all~!

Just got back from Dale's; no luck there. Something will show up, just might take a while.
