Thanks! Can't wait to go get it this week. There may be a re-wrap in its future but for now the plan is fill, sand, paint. Or satin wood finish if the outer ply is good enough but I doubt it. Wish I could find some original 60s ginger-aled silver sparkle...but I doubt it. :)Mitch
What about the bottom hoops and T-rods? Good luck with it.
Better looking 8X12 shell gets the hoop & rods from the other [I never play 2 up]. All the best hardware will go on one tom.
I have 4 20" wood hoops, though MIJ, two are of Big Four quality [only need one]. I have 12, 12" single tension BD "faucet" T-rods which if I can't trade I'll cut down and thread.
FT gets top snare hoop [don't need the snare] unless it's nickel in which case I have a generic 14" 6-lug rim [also in which case I won't be using S.O.S. pads]. Bottom FT rods are the hurdle...this is where I'll use that luck you sent. :)
...I'll be having some parts to trade...:)
