Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Thanks jaghog. Nice thing with the fiberglass was its strong projection. Only in larger venues did I need to mic. I was fortunate that these babies always delivered great sound-live or recording. dean Keep on Pl

Thanks. I agree with you, even tongue-in-cheek. When I started gigging semi-professionally and regularly, I was always a tad anxious that the

drum sound might just not measure up to the US brand names. I was always complimented by fellow drummers and people we played for. My daughter has her Premier Soundwave we bought her years back here at our house too-someday I might own that US-made drumset! dean :)

I have to admit, at the time of purchase, I really wanted a wrap like a tiger pearl of some kind-but as I look back at various pictures of our 60s/Beatles tribute band, the WMP had that just-right professional crisp white appearance. And no, it really never bothered me not to have a Ringo/Luddy BOP, as much as often thought about getting a set...dean band2
