Vintage Ajax 18" crash cymbal 1950's/60's

Loading...

Here is another cymbal i got with the Premier drum kit i recently purchased. Most of these cymbals are basically garbage but now and then a good one appears. Here is that good one. The weight is 1350grams lovely crash and woooow what a bell sound. The condition is absolutely top class. The guy who owned the cymbal had it on his wall was a gift from a well known drummer in the 50's/60's. Have a look at this....sean.

Great cymbal! Very cool and it looks brand new!

I came across the same era/stamp Ajax 20" ride. Completely dirty and lots of patina, with six rivet holes about halfway in-between the edge and the base of the bell. It is one of the better ones as well. High pitched and dry enough to lay into without annoyance.

I guess you and I are proof that some good ones do exist! Have fun with that cymbal!
