Vintage Slingerland Marching BD

Loading...

10x28, Red sparkle with silver sparkle inlays. Just cleaned this one up over the weekend. 3-ply with rings, chocolate milk interior. Not in bad shape for being an old school drum. The badge was missing, so I can't specifically date it. The hoops had to be repainted.

Put it on eBay last night, and it sold before I got up this morning!

It would be good as a main bass drum or a woofer bass drum.

I like the woofer BD idea. I've got some 10x26 Ludwig shells (6-ply) that I've been toying with the idea.

I do have one more of these Slingerland shells, and actually am looking at another lot of 4 old marching drums this afternoon. One of them is also a 10x28 Slingerland, only in blue sparkle. Depending on what I can get the guy down to, I may have another!

Very nice Bill. I love red sparkle.

Thanks, Gerald, but other than repainting the rims, this one was just a clean and polish job!
