I just bought a Lido Supreme drum set and I'd like to find some information about them, catalogs, ads etc... Does anyone else have or play these? The shells are all dated 3/12/66.
Information on Lido Supreme drums anyone?
Pics?
My hunch is that if it's obscure and has the word "Supreme" in its name that it's probably a MIJ pre-Tama Star stencil kit.

Thank you! I should have the set in my hands on Monday. I will post some pics when I have the drums here.
Pictures above. I have them apart, but the set is complete with all of the hardware.
Nice set.
It is surely an MIJ stencil, and based on the tom mount, my hunch has changed to Pearl as the maker. Check the old Pearl catalogs on the vintagedrums.com site and see if you get a match.

Yes, Lido Supreme was just another stencil name for drums made by Star-Tama. Here's a picture of my Lido Supreme snare drum in the rare Peacock Pearl finish.

Yep, they are Stars, Mark. As a Star collector, I must say that yours is beautiful! What a stunning wrap!

Thank you. I purchased it from the original owner. It was sold here locally at Crest Music Center in Allentown, PA back in the late 1960's. The snare drum has a Crest Music Center badge around the vent hole.
