A member was supposed to send me some pix on a shell they had but have been too busy. Does anyone have one they are not using and would like to sell? I would like to complete my kit. Thanks...

Well I did purchase a tom from a well known member who sells parts on the VDF, however his description of the tom being in "very good condition" turned out to be way off base. The tom I received has two oversized (x 3 times) lug holes, both bearing edges have been re-cut and the drum is scuffed up pretty bad. The badge is bent as well. Not what most people would describe as "very good condition" but I guess money is more important to some sellers than their reputation? I decided not to mention the member, however if anyone is looking to purchase parts off a member of the VDF feel free to send me a PM and inquire if they may be dealing with the same person. I would prefer not see anyone else ripped off by this guy.

On a positive note, once again I'm looking for a 13 x 9 solid black Vistalite tom tom either complete or a shell with a badge. The drum must be original, in nice shape with a nice badge. The bearing edges should be original and not have any dips at the seam (I have seen some really lousy bearing edges on some Vistalite drums). I'm looking for a positive experience this time. :)
