Slingerland denim kit

Loading...

Wanted to upload some pics now, will upload more (better ones) once I get the tom holder this week from the previous owner. No matching snare unfortunately but I love these big rock sizes; 9x13, 10x14, 16x18, and 14x24 bass

When in doubt, lay out.

Looks great... That would be the Super Rock Kit 51n.. The snare supplied with the kit would have been a Chrome 6 1/2" Sound King..

( Do not tumble dry... Hand wash only ).. ;)

Cheers

Thanks for the info! That'll be a lot easier to obtain than the matching snare.

When in doubt, lay out.

I just noticed the flyer posted to your earlier post.. Altough there was a 5 1/4" covered in denim too... The standard wrapped Super Rocks had the 6 1/2 Chrome Sound kings.. I have this kit too..

IMO the 6 1/2 is a good match for the larger toms. I am thinking also, with the fade on your kit it would be next to impossible to get a colour match on a Denim Wrap snare...

Cheers

Here is a better detail shot of the wrap in less intense light. Lot better representation of the color.

Awesome...Real. Comfortable. Drums.

...believe it or not...I have seen a kit covered in padded black naugahyde. They actually looked pretty cool from the audience.

As an added benefit - when the gig was over the drums could double as living room furniture

LOL
