There are a few. On ebay this year alone 3 sets. Color match is the issue.

I found a natural maple 12x18 RB several years ago and a matching 8x12 a few years later. Currently using a black nitron RB 14x14 and doubt I'll ever find one in original natural maple.

FYI

Never play it the same way once.

I have had a lot of offers and it is getting really annoying. So for those tire kickers out there $4k is the best offer so far. I won't consider letting it go for anything less.

I think it's crazy that a converted floor tom and wrapped kit went for just under $6k on Ebay. If that is the case I could do the cardinal sin and wrap my 12 and 14 roundbadge drums to match this bass.

Anyway just waiting on hoops and bass drum inlays to get done. What heads do you guys suggest for this little guy?

Evans Emad batter [pic] and Remo coated Ambassador reso, no port...should work even for jazz.

Oh NO WAY will I mess with the bass drum. I have other round badge toms I could wrap to match or find matching drums.

It was a mild attempt at humor, based on your thread subject line.

I cleaned up all the claws and tension rods. I wanted to take it outside to see how it faded and looked in the sun. It will be tough to match this kit but I know even if it takes years the matching drums will show up.

The bass drum hoops are being made by Precision Drums as we speak.
