I say 1970's...due to the stamp, which shows the squiggly "U" with no dots inside AND the A. Zildjian lettering in a sort of lightly depressed form (a '50's would have been more deeply impressed).

Also, the hammering on the cymbal looks 100% machine, not hand...so...'70's says I...Chewie:

1032g....it's a bit heavy...could work as a medium-heavy top 'hat, or would make a good bottom on a pair of mediums.

I'd say around $50, maybe.

Im going to use it for a crash on my kids drums along with a 16" z medium crash. The 14" sounds a lot better than the 12" splash I was using for the crash cymbal. I have some 13" zbt hats I may use if i ever get a hi hat stand for the kids drums

Hi, I come from Poland and I've got the same problem, please help me identify this cymbals - 14" Hi-hat.

They are really heavy and thick

Here are some pictures: http://img190.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc02523e.jpg

I think that they are old, don't they?

Johan,

I would say those are fairly new Zildjian A's. How do they sound? The reason I think this is the writing in the block. That is a newer pratice.
