Meinl Dragon / Double Dragon?

Anybody out there had any experience playing / owning these cymbals? I heard a drummer playing with a Meinl Dragon crash and I thought it was one of the nicest cymbals I've ever heard. Very dark sound! I've been trying to find one to buy for a while now, but they don't seem to come up too often. Would anybody care to sell one to me? 18" and up. I'd pay a King's ransom. They are Chinese bronze made in Wuhan and labelled my Meinl in the 80's.

As with all the Chinese bronze they can vary a lot from cymbal to cymbal so it's better to play one before buying.

I have a great 18 china-crash-ride that sounds very dark and trashy but it's not for sale.

Why don't you look for a very trashy Dream Bliss cymbal?

Thanks for the info. The Dream Bliss seem very nice, but I really want one of these Dragons. They're rare.

Check out the French and German craiglist style ads if you can. I was lucky enough to find a very heavy 22 china in France and got it shipped to Spain and I've seen that they pop up from time to time in Germany too.
