You could find a similar snare. Perhaps a natural wood model and finally have a purpose for those old Levi's you were saving in the rag drawer.

Re-wrap with old jeans?

Just kidding. Hope you find your snare.

Which model kit do you have? (Note.. some of the denim kits included the Chrome Sound King snare).

Re-wrap with old jeans?

I'm not gonna lie, I cleaned out my closet yesterday and the thought did cross my mind!

Mind posting a photo of your blue jean kit? I can never get enough of those. I've seen only one other... Thanks. :)

Attaching some pictures of a Denim Artist snare drum that sold on eBay for $355. That was in February of 2007. I've no doubt it would command more now!

That actually looks really cool. It sounds a little weird until you see it in pics. How is the denim held on?????

Thanks for the pics! See, I always hear conflicting thoughts on this kit. The general consensus is that these are rare but not too desirable so people's "value" of the kit varies drastically. I got the kit minus the snare for less than that snare sold for. I love the unique kitschy stuff.

When in doubt, lay out.

Cool kit! I looked at that set a few times myself and never pulled the trigger. Sounds like you got a killer deal. I'll keep an eye out for a matching snare and let you know if I find one.

I may see you there tomorrow evening. I think I left a BD hoop behind Saturday and hoping it's still there!
