Great drums. Double bass is big on the smile factor. Enjoy!

Wow that is stunning. That wrap photographs like nothing else. Don't know the general consensus but the fact you didn't touch up the BD hoops is a huge plus in my view. Those ones have just the right amount of wear. Will you play the shows 4-piece or the whole double-deal?

Thanks, I thought the same thing about the paint on the hoops, it would be less authentic if it were repainted even a bit IMO.

I'll be playing it as a 4 pc, and won't bother with the rail mounts. It's a disaster trying to position both rack toms correctly with them! Just impossible, they don't have enough flexibility.

Those look great. I would have taken those heads and scrubbed them with some Barkeepers friend and a stiff brush. They will look brand new.

I find a given rail mount has one combination of all the variables that will work for me. If you can get it close but tilting a bit too much to the left [player POV] you can cut a .25" or so strip of sheet brass or similar and wrap it tight around the bottom of the 'spade' - raises/tilts the tom, and seems to lessen choking.

That said, at a live show, someone could fall backwards into the tom and crack the kick shell...so yeah. Snare stand.

Hi, what size are those hoops? I might be able to help out on some inlays.

I bought them off CL about 2 months ago. I think I saw your listings though, I was just looking at sold stuff yesterday

I can make a single rail mount work no problem (though I'd want a longer spade). It's trying to get both rack toms into a position that makes sense with two opposing rails on separate kick drums that has proved impossible.
