1967 Ludwig Club Date

My father gave me this set when I graduated High School. I had to find a matching snare, and it has taken a little elbow grease to make it shine, but it has proven to be a reliable kit. Very easy to set up and break down, and with the right dampeners, the bass drum sounds AMAZING. Enjoy!

Nice, I've got the same thing but in Superclassic sizes and lugs, same year/finish as well, I have a Supra in place of your wood snare.

How does that snare treat you?

I love the snare! I am quite fond of the warmth you get out of it. I use an Evans Genera G2 for the top head. That keeps it real crisp. Couldn't be happier with the set up. Everything else is original...

I have a 1967 Acrolite that came with the kit when I got it. I much prefer the wood snare :D

How do you like your Super Classic? Lets see a picture! :D:D Gotta love the silver sparkle

Yeah, I love playing it. I like having the heavy duty DW hardware along side it as well. I do have all the original hardware somewhere though :D
