All the hardware, tags and mufflers were removed =from the drum
With the exception of the painted design, all of the old finish was removed from the drum
The hoops were stripped completely bare
The shell was re-stained in a natural finish and then done in a semi gloss finish
The customer requested that the hoops be stained red instead of being repainted so here are some shots of the drum finished and assembled

Jeff, DRAM was excellent, the Swiss Rudimental Drumming Association came over with 75 fifers and drummer. More than 30 snares on the field. Check it out. Okay, it's finally complete, the prototype is done and this is going to be a regular build item for me if there is enough interest.
