>[I] Just my counterfeiting story... it cured me from even thinking about it. And... every printer does think about it at least once in their career. It may be a pipe dream for others, but for some of the more talented guys in our trade, it's a very real temptation! One guy with the right inks, paper and a multilith press can print a lot of moola-boola in an eight hour shift! lolJohn
You ever watch the movie "To Live and Die in LA"? Great opening scene with Willen Dafoe shooting, stripping, opaque negs, burning plates, printing on the old multi, cutting and fluffing finished bills with poker chips in the dryer. Classic flick. Good car chase scene too. :D
John your right many of us have thought about it one time or another. Just too big of a risk and the jail time involved.
Man that's quite a story John. I would have messed my Calvins too. Scary stuff for sure and seeing those guys cuffed and stuffed that will scar anyones thoughts for life! I have to laugh you'd be surprised the things people walk in off the street and asked us to print. From money to fake Fed/State ID's, concert tickets etc.... it's endless. I've seen all kinds of crazy stuff. Thanks for the story that's a good one. I have a few to share with you someday.
