Zildjian A Hi Hats

Hello all,

I picked up a set recently that came with a set of what I thought were all 60's Zildjians. The hi hats however are the mystery for what decade they are from. I don't have a weight in grams but they are very light (the owner said they were advertised as "super lights" which I had never heard of).

The other determining factor is the center hole does not fit a modern stand. Anyone know when they switched the center hole sizes?

The stamp is so lightly stamped that most of it is gone, but it is a Zildjian A.

Any help would be appreciated!

If the hole is smaller..it's most likely a trans stamp period..

Thanks for the information! Usually I try and due as much do diligence when researching before posting on here but the Zildjian time line is just so hard to follow. I couldn't find anything.

We need a clear close up photo of the stamp and the bell. Without it we're just guessing.
