this one got a nice overnight soak and complete detail today. this is a 70's Ludwig 5x14 8 lug acrolite with the pointed corner blue olive badge. serial number is 1874068. these have the lighter coating on the shells much like the keystone models. gives them more of an open sound, I think. shell is in great condition. has the one little mark below the badge and that's it. chrome on the hardware is vibrant. lugs and hoops look great. all original tension rods/washers. has the original 2517124 12 strand snare wires. I installed new Ludwig cord on these. black face p85 works nicely as does the small round knob muffler. has block logo snare butt. newer remo coated ambassador batter and a used remo ambassador on the snare side.

this one looks great and sound just as nice. its tuned and ready to play, out of the box. please pm me here or email to mikelayton@bellsouth.net if you have any questions. I ship quickly! thanks for looking.

$185 now 140 plus 20 insured shipping to the lower 48. actual shipping cost anywhere else.

sure is a nice looking snare, hope you get at least 160 for it. Mines not as nice and I thought it was worth at least 160 but can't seem to generate any interest.

sorry to hear about the lack of interest on yours. good luck! weird times I guess. I sold 7 or 8 last month for more money that weren't quite as nice in most cases. weird!

I use dawn dishwashing liquid and water together. I soak all the chrome parts in this.
