Zildjian 18" ride

From zenstat

Does yours from the 70s have the big O in CO, vadava? If so, does it also have a hollow ink Zildjian on the bottom? Any model ink on the top? Note that there seem to be big CO vs Co, 3 dots and not, dots in U.S.A vs USA. There may be other variants as well.

Yes it does, CO and hollow ink on the bottom. U.S.A. is dotted like so. No ink on top. The 3 dots are not there I think, but I actually find that bit confusing. In the stamps where the 3 dots are absent in the arabic writing, there are two dots and two lines in their place, correct? I have the latter, so not really 3 dots (more like this .. _ _). Could it be from the 80s maybe?

I find it is confusing without an annotated picture.

The three dots I'm talking about are circled in red. These are the "3 dots" which distinguish the late 50s stamp from the 60s stamp (and other stamps as well).

In some die stamps they are in, in other die stamps they are left out. Sometimes when the die stamp isn't rolled in very firmly (or the lathe line goes goes through that area) the dots can be there but hard to see.

It may be you are talking about the lower row at the bottom of the Ottoman portion of the die stamp which looks sort of like .._ _ which I've highlighted between the two blue arrows:

That's a whole different story.

Indeed I was talking about the lower row. Thanks for clearing that up. (The 3 dots that are actually meant are not in my stamp.)
