Seam filler! Quick and easy, it comes in white. Apply with a clean putty knife then wipe off excess with solvent and clean cloth. You'll never see the splits and the seam filler will stop further spreading for now. I got excellent results using this method on a black galaxy wrap floor tom. It came out great. would this method also work on something like this?It´s such a cool FT very clean, but a huge crack around halfway around! Look at the pic maybe you can tell me more? Or do i have to rewrap that FT?

It's certainly worth a try! I used a counter-top seam filler called: Kampel Seam-fil, it comes in many colors:

Before resorting to stripping the drum, I'd try the seam filler. Order the solvent (for clean-up afterwards) at the same time you order the seam filler. The only rule with seam fillers is: the thinner the crack, the easier it is to hide it, the wider the crack, the harder it will be to make it disappear visually. Joseph - For your white marine pearl, I'd use the Almond 941 filler! Good match to the yellowed WMP!
