Rogers Timbale Stand

Loading...

Hi all! this is my first post. I was hoping to get help locating a ~70's Rogers Timbale Stand. I have located a nice pair of shells, but have yet to find a stand. If anyone has one please let me know your asking price or if you know of the whereabouts of a stand please to send me contact info.

Nice to meet you all, and Thanks

Hi,They are very FEW and FAR between. What I did was replace the mounts with Rogers knobbies, same as used on floor toms and used rogers hex spurs inserted into a Rogers double tom stand. You can probably find 3/8" hex rod stock online cheaper than a set of Rogers spurs. You could also use Ludwig tom mounts instead of Rogers.the vertical holes are identical spacing .Then, find a Ludwig double tom stand. These would have to be 1960-70 vintage and accept 3/8" round rod. Hope that helps

How to make stand work for Rogers timbales. Since it is very complex to build the original stand here is the best way to get them on a stand and functional without any drilling or hard work.

1 Buy 2 large Ludwig Clip mount as shown in photo. Make sure they are the large ones Ludwig also has a smaller one that you do not need. How to tell its the large clip it has 4 holes on clp.

2 Once you have Ludwig clip mount dismaltal from Ludwig Plate

3 Remove the 2 screw like ******s from Rogers plate

4 Replace with Ludwig clip by matching two holes and you have a functional and use with any Ludwig or any U mount stand

If you have any problems contact me 570 234 6569
