This badge was used from 1960 to 1967, so definitely 60's and this finish isn't available as of 1968, but that's all I can help with.

1970 Ludwig Blue Oyster Super Classic
1977 Rogers Big R Londoner 5 ebony
1972/1978 Rogers Powertone/Big R mix ebony
60's Ludwig Supersensitive
Pearl B4514 COB snare ( the SC snare)
Pearl Firecracker
PJL WMP maple snare
Odds & Sods

Sabians, Paistes, Zildjians, Zyns, UFIPs, MIJs etc

thanks, I was told that they stopped fitting bass drum dampers in 1965, I hadn't heard that before, if so that would make it early 60s

The block badge on your kit goes back to at least 1952, the previous badge was the Script badge and before that, the post war, Made and Registered badge

thanks

I just read that the Royal ace came out in 1960, in 1961 they start using the mahogany wrap, and in 1966 they changed the colour of bass drum hoops to black instead of silver

Yes, but the block badges from 60' to 67' have "made and regd in england" written in two lines of text as opposed to earlier block badges that read " made and registered in england" in three lines of text. After 67 they only say "made in england" and have serial #s.

Also note that the 60 to 67 badge here is shown on a Mahogany Duroplastic wrapped drum

1964 Ludwig Champagne Super Classic
1970 Ludwig Blue Oyster Super Classic
1977 Rogers Big R Londoner 5 ebony
1972/1978 Rogers Powertone/Big R mix ebony

Better check your facts, Funky, the Super Ace prior to the Royal Ace, had the same badge as the Royal Ace snare. The Made and Registered badge was only on post war drums for a couple years, the Script badge less than that, then the made and R'ged badges up to '67

BTW, not all the post 67 badges had numbers

Wow...those are some CLEAN drums!

I usually can not stand the color brown..but I think I could make an exception for those!
