Just found this beautiful 20" K in Istanbul.
This stamp don't say "ISTANBUL" or "Constantinople".
Otherwise looks very much like a real K. Condition is amazing so a lot of room for doubt about originality. Please help ASAP.

Sometimes that gets left out, but it's the real thing.
Great news!! How did you determine that?
Also, what period is it? 69-77 new stamp?
Bill, are you sure? It looks off to me.
The "D" in the first Zildjian is too fat.
The bottom "L" in the first Zildjian is too long...it shouldn't connect to the D like that.
The "Co" looks wrong...the letters should be further apart.
The "J"s in both Zildjians are too fully formed at the bottom.
This looks to me like the fake "ZILOJIAN" stamp we've seen before, only they've improved that D a little.
In this pic, I put the stamp in question on top. Numbers 2 and 3 are known fakes. The bottom one is the real deal.

FAKE! That's normal in Istanbul. Last year at the Grand Bazar the guy in the back was calling for an old K. Istanbul, ten minutes later...

Oh... That sucks. What makes you sure it's fake though?
Although i must say it was too good to be true. The price, the condition...
However it sounds really really good! But maybe its a generic turkish ride...? i dunno,,,
Oh dude- That is the same store!!!
However they had a 16: that was not fake and i got that... so... are you absolutely sure?
