Zebra wood veneer will look amazing if it's anywhere as nice as the last Roger's kit you did. Why not use Ludwig 5/16" curved spurs instead of new since they hold really well, especially with a front BD spur bracket. My Camco's have basically the same design and it holds a 24" from moving.

Thank you!

I dont know much about those curved spurs but I will certainly consider that.

The zebra wood choice is getting pretty serious!

Thank you!

Thanks for making this thread.

If this one turns out like any of your other kits it will be a real beauty!

I've been considering replacing the spurs on my WFL bass drum with these the new Ludwig Atlas spurs. I love that they don't require extra holes, so I could always bring mine back to the original (or leave both).

Just a thought.

Looking forward to seeing the results!

Your welcome. Those spurs are cool! Any idea what they cost?

ef you dont need badges if your rewrap for a players kit goodluck gary

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Thank you Glenn. Well that option is out now, wow, 100 bucks!

Im thinking Gibralter, fold up telescoping spurs for 40 bucks from drumfactory.

Gary, funny you mention the badges. I have been wondering weather or not I want to spend the money for them. I have one that came on the bass drum so I will but it back on. But the rest of the drums dont have them and they are 25.0 each minimum on ebay. Be nice to have them but not 100.00 nice.

Thank you!

What your thoughts on using this strainer and butt for my snare? Im not sure if I totaly understand how the wires attach but I really dig the huge baseball bat lever! This is an old marching drum, I picked up two of them once for ten bucks.
