Nice looking snare produced during the 1937 Silver Anniversary period of Ludwig's history. The stamp is the date the drum was produced. 37 was the year, the next two numbers are the month. Not sure why it was double stamped?

Marching snares carry less value from a collectors perspective. A concert or "traps" snare produced during the same period fetches $350-$1500 depending on year, type, metal or wood shell, lugs, and condition. I would guess the value at between $125-$250 depending on who's looking.

Hope this helps

I think the lower end of Kelly's estimate. I would doubt it can fetch more than $150 on eBay in this economy. But it IS a nice old time-capsule piece....
