Well, like I said before, I have no problems with the "automatic login." On all four computers that I regularly use.
With all due respect, "It's always worked before" "It just worked yesterday" "I've used this this way for years" (etc., etc.) are some of the most common problems I deal with. Why do things happen like this? Because whether we like it or not, in the world of computer/network/internet technology, things are changing ALL THE TIME. And, there is a LOT more going on between your computer and a website than most people can even imagine. Any change at any time along the way can change something for the "end user."
When I get calls of the above mentioned nature, the FIRST thing I do is check for problems on the "end user" end, and then if necessary trace back from there. Many times a windows "update" (or some other software update -- flash, shockwave, etc.) has actually caused an issue. In our case, where we have a specific firewall with specific instructions/policies, IF we have changed something (like we've discovered that a kid has figured out how to bypass certain safeguards), it sometimes messes with other things. And sometimes after all we can do on our end, a website has upgraded or updated something on "their end" that has made something on "our end" not work properly.
In those cases, it is their fault. But in many of those cases, the only solution is on "our end." That's where IE's "compatibility settings" come in, in most instances.
So, like I said before, I don't have the same issues you have. My "automatic login" works fine. So with VDF's upgrade, for whatever reason, my 4 computers were NOT affected. That means, no matter who's at fault, the only solution may be at your end.

The same exact one I've been using for the past three years on my phone, and for the past two years on my computer. This is one of those, "It's not me, it's you" scenarios. :)
