Frankly I prefer it back the way it was before the transition . When I just logged on and saw the old site back I was psyched. The new format looks just like every other forum these days. Boring. The older format has character, and IMHO its easier to use and read.

LOVE IT, that the forum has returned to the previous image ! ! !

The in-between 'newer style' did not do justice to the intention: being a forum for vintage drum lovers (and, considering that we are no longer youngsters here :), the clearness of the previous site style).

I kinda prefer having a WMP logo and all the other things that contribute to the look of VDF. And... if you want to have a vote... vote with your donation to VDF to help keep the site up and running! If you want the club-house to be here tomorrow, you need to chip in your club-dues today. Turn on that green light next to your name...

I wouldn't be listening to my gut if I were you then! Nope!...

... we are keeping this version/format. This is actually an UPGRADED version of our original, thus a "few" little things are different. For the most part though... as comfortable as your favorite pair of shoes! All this said, eventually... we will have to UPGRADE again, but not right away. We felt it was more than worth it to return to our original view/concept, and just deal with what comes down the road later when again, we absolutely have to. I just want to reiterate though, this version IS an upgrade. There was change!, just more comfy.

Fantastic. I for one am very pleased and glad I am wrong. Now I'm going to do what I should have done much earlier, send in a donation to help keep it up and running. I've been very remiss! I'm not sure how to donate, but I'll look around the site.

Edit: Just realized my green light is on. Does that mean I contributed sometime in the past? Or does that just indicate who is logged in? I frankly don't recall, but will contribute again anyway.
