Mark!

Yes indeed!... I watched each and every episode so many times over, I could recite dialog.. and .. the fun was trying to come up with each episodes title within seconds of seeing the opening bit. Interestingly, I was but 11 when the series started in 1966, and had to BEG my father to let me stay up and watch it as it aired from 8:30 to 9:30 if memory serves. Years later when it went into syndication, well... that's when I would see every episode NUMEROUS times over... such as "The Arena" which is the actual title of the episode that featured the GORN!, and who could possibly forget the GORN??!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thread has been very amusing I must say. Happy New year to you too Mark!

You might want to read the short story that Star Trek's 'Arena' was based on! "The Arena" was written in 1944 by, Fredrick Brown. It's only 28 pages long, (it's a free download if you Google it,) so it's a quick read. It's fun to see what the Star Trek version was based on.

Ha! And you thought you were a Trekkie!

John

Too many great drums to list here!
