Anyone have any info about these drums?

Sizes are 20x14, 16x15, 12x8, 14x5 snare.

Vintage MIJ by Pearl?

I'm thinking early 60s.

All drums have re-rings.

I have never seen this badge before.

Is this what is called Tiger Eye Pearl wrap?

What do you think?

Hello, Rob:

There may be some on our Forum who may disagree but, in my opinion, your drums are a stencil of Pearl. I think they may be a bit later than the early sixties though. IF the badge were stamped "Tempo (no "r") World's Supreme Quality, Made in Japan", they would have been made by Star. Check out the badges on the Forum as well.

Yes, the snare IS Star but, from what I can see in the picture, the strainer arm is not original.

Yes, you're could be right, Christian. Those arms are famous for coming loose and being lost though (I use a drop of Loctite, Removable to help secure my arms). Maybe this was all he could come up with in a pinch. The arms are difficult to find but, not impossible. Good eye in identifying the snare, sir!

A very common kit in that color is the Whitehall - by Pearl. I have one, and the lugs on this look identical to it. They are Slinger style, but fatter. Seeing that your drums have re-rings - indicate that they are likely pre-67 as I believe both Star and Pearl went to the thicker shells (w/o rings) some time around 67 (source - jonnistix)

These are thinner (3 ply I think) and will sound GREAT - will have more body and more low-end.

Enjoy - as the FT in that color seems to be the elusive drum of this color.

Several forum members have these TEP color kits.

Great Score!

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
