Not 100% positive...but Ludwig did not make a 70's COB triple flange 10 hole hoop. But then again, I learn something new every day.

I don't think they did either. can't be certain though. I recently owned a b/o 70's brass supra and it had period chrome over steel hoops on it.

Maybe early to mid 80's?

I have one on my 6.5X14 Bronze supra. I just dont want one of the newer ones as they seem to have a bigger diameter that causes some nasty tension rod splay.

I have what looks like a bronze supraphonic but it has a Black and white badge. This leads me to suspect it's a newer made in Japan or China drum. The hoops are steel.

youre right Gerald. those are neat drums, but are not supras. they are ludwigs with import shells.
