sparkledrumwrap Ebay?

I'm looking for a budget friendly wrap to through on my Pearl Fiberglass kit.

I know this guys self adhesive "wrap skins" are garbage. But I noticed there is also the option of a regular wrap, (not the sticker junk).

Has anyone tried this guys wrap? Not the sticker stuff he sells?

This kit probably will be my gigging kit, it already is yellowed and the rack tom is a different color.

Thank you.

Steven

Here is the description listed for a one of his wraps:

MY GUN METAL SPARKLE DRUM WRAP LOOKS AMAZING. BRIGHT METAL-FLAKE SPARKLES WITH A HIGH GLOSS CLEAR COAT FINISH THAT PROTECTS FROM MOISTURE AND UV. ITS ABOUT THE THICKNESS OF A CREDIT CARD YET VERY FLEXIBLE AND MUCH SOFTER THAN THE CONVENTIONAL STIFF WRAP SO ITS SUPER EASY TO INSTALL. (IT'S A NO BRAINER!) because its softer, IT HUGS THE SHELL UNLIKE THE STIFF BRITTLE WRAP and you won't have air pockets between the wrap and the shell avoiding those "buzzing sounds.. Lets face it, you really can't pull the thick stiff wrap very tight around the shell. My soft wraps pull tight and are easy to install with the hi-bond tape I provide for a solid wrap! Also easily removable at any time.

I dont know if its budget enough but Jaminsams offers a "budget" wrap. One looks like WMP and he also should have some sparkles. Keep in mind the old rule of thumb, you get what you pay for.

Thank you!

There have been several conversations here about alternatives to wrap including:

Sparkle vinyl

Automotive grade films

Glitter Blast spray paint

Aluminum flashing

Wood veneers

Some quick searches here should give you some ideas.

Is this the guy in I think Kiowa? drumwerx I think is his eBay name?

I actually contacted him and he said I can drive over and pick it up. If I buy. If you're saying it's a quality product I'll probably go that route

Well the gloss black sample that i got i put up against my late 70's black nitron and it was perfect. The thickness was not to thin / not to thick. I figured i would get a roll and finish a few orphans down the road.
