60's Slingerland Student Model

Hello everyone:

I just picked up a 60's Slingerland Student Model (Brass Niles Badge) and needed some parts and was wondering if there was anywhere to get these other than sucking it up and going to ebay.

The snare needs:

-A muffler

-Parts for the butt plate (the bar and screws)

-tension rods

I'm not opposed to going non-vintage replacement parts on everything except the muffler. Just looking for some help pointing me in the direction of the most cost efficient method of cleaning this snare up.

I have the tension rods I am fairly sure do you need the rim clips also.?

Does anyone know if the snare butt ends are different through the Slingerland eras? Could I use an HSS era butt end on this snare without having to drill holes?
