Rideau Snare

Hey all,

I received this 70`s stencil snare with a bunch of drums today...I`ve never seen this badge before...It is a 3 ply and a 6 lugger...It looks all original right down to the Pearl stamped wires...I haven`t cleaned it up yet...

What is the name of this wrap? Blue silk or something like that?

The 1968 catalogue of Pearl at www.drumarchive.com says, that the finish was called 'Galaxy'.
