Vintage Sonor Help

I have a mid to late 60s Sonor kit that I would really like to get some specifics on - like year, name of color and a fair market value.

I'm a bass player and I bought the kit from our drummer years ago when he was selling a few kits to thin his herd.

Well my playing days are slowing down and I need to free up some much needed space for myself.

The kit has the Made in Western Germany badges, it's a turquoise swirl color, has a 20" kick - 12", 13", 16" toms - 14" snare. It has the L bracket for the ride cymbal, snare stand. I have old stands for the other cymbals but I'm not sure if they are correct. Newer Sonor stands are in the pictures ( which aren't vey good and make the chrome look terrible - it isn't ).

I'm just looking for any help with the exact year (I can't find any inside the heads), the name of the color and a fair market value for the drums. I'm hoping that someone who appreciates these old kits - as I do old basses - will find them, want them, and give them a new home.

SWEET!!.

Those look great.

They are mid 60's, maybe New Yorkers.

Wrap seems to be in great shape. It's Rowlux film. Blue satin flame.

Not sure what Sonor called it.

In that condition, I would say north of $500 US for sure.

The wrap was called 'Multi-brilliant blue' at Sonor.

Can't really speak for the US-market, but to my opinion Hollywood's price would not include cymbals: shells + hardware only. Otherwise even (much) more.

Bassdrum to me, looks like a 22" ...would also make more sense to the rest of the Konfiguration!

Agreed.

I'm talkin just the shells and essential hardware.

Any hat, snare or cymbal stands or cymbals extra.
