If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, is it insane to practice?

I believe that is a fair price, if the wrap is in decent condition and all the lugs, rims, tension screws and tom arm is present. Check the snare to see if the throwoff has the original cover plate. They get lost quite often. Doesn't hurt the operation, but nice to have it. I have the same set with some scratches (after 40+ years, expected to have some), but none showing from 3 feet away.

Seen a couple with this finish on ebay recently, but not as 4 piece if I remember right.

sizes are 14x20, 8x13 , 16x15 and 14x5 snare..

he means:

14x20, 8x13, 15x16 and 5 x14

or if you're on my side of the pond:

20x14, 13x8, 16x15 and 14x5...

$750 seems a bit... if they were really, really perfect then OK!

Seems reasonable to me. Try for 650. Also, you might see if he has the tom arm.

You can find the tom arm easily on ebay or at that stdrum co. in germany. I wouldnt take $750 for mine!
