I found this on ebay and another one just like it for 4 time the price.

Are these worth anything?

Not really....just cheap brass cymbals by the looks of them....along the lines of Tama or Pearl cymbals......something to bash away on when you are learning to play....

Well, I cried when I saw that.

Sonor Tyrko cymbals are indeed cheaper cymbal, NS12 or brass. 90% of what you see on E-bay is the lower end Tyrko's.

However, Super Tyrko's are B20 cymbals and are actually very, very good cymbals. I'm not surprised the first one went on a Buy It Now. The guy got a heckuva good deal. The second is probably market value.

[COLOR="DarkRed"]The good Sonor cymbals are the Super Tyrkos AND also the Sonor Toscos (made by the Italian Tosco company for a while). So when you see a Sonor cymbal available, don't immediately assume it's crap.

The regular Tyrkos are, as 'dad says, NS12.

Another interesting thing about the Tyrkos....they were the FIRST mfr. to make hi-hat cymbals w/ rippled edges. I have seen a few pairs of these in my years. Too bad they didn't really run with the idea....maybe it was before it's time....[/COLOR]

The cymbal is an excellent ride, but the bell dont compare to my 22" zildjian 70's rides.
