K Zildjian 15" crash

Hi everybody

My name is Alan, and i am a drummer and i have a cymbal for sale

Anybody know the value of this old K from the late 1940s 15" crash/hand hammered/ dark gold tone/signature clearly visible under bell no keyholing and for sale Symbal is in mint condition! Between 900-1100gram

If heavier, not so much...

Market values used to be higher...a year ago you could probably get $325-75 on eFlay. But those days are over....

...this is INSANE...a very thin, very old 15 WITH the paper tag and signature and NO damage...for only $201 !!!! Someone committed highway robbery on this one...in plain daylight, to boot.

Hi Alan,

That's what's called an "Intermediate stamp" by Bill Hartick from the early 60's. If you don't have an offer from someone over here you should try selling it at ebay.

ps: Also, that one was part of a hihat set. See the markings on the underside?

[COLOR="DarkRed"]1200 grams isn't the BEST weight for an old K 15. It is kinda heavy. Won't have much use other than for a bottom hi-hat.

....nevertheless, if it's in good shape and it does have the signature...maybe $160-220 or so.....

(would be worth more if it had been 150g lighter)[/COLOR]

Thank's for the info.

Went to my local post office to weight the cymbal as acurately as possible

The weight is now 1100g Does this change it's value???

I would really like to knowClapping Happy2

The cymbal is in "MINT" condition, no cracks or keyholing
