G Zildjian Cymbal?

Loading...

Hi,i saw a 15.4″ inch cymbal and it weight 940 grams.When i see the stamp,it says:

Made in Turkey

G. Zildjian

Suc L. M.

Constantinople

I confused the beside a and k zildjian cymbal, there is also g zildjian cymbal.

I think that the relatively unknown “G Zildjian” cymbals may have been produced by Kerope Zildjian’s son-in-law Gabriel in Suç, Albania sometime between 1910 and 1928.

Does anybody have more info of this cymbal?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

p.s. here is the photo of the cymbal:

That's the best that we currently know about this. Its a pretty obscure branch off of the Zildjian family.

You may want more information and so do I. But it will have to come from a source more knowledgable than me. So maybe you can find such a person.

When you do, be sure to get back to us. We'll be waiting with baited breath.
