Some of you may know DFO member Bongo Congo.

He suffered a ,at first, massive stroke yesterday morning.

He's doing better today and has the ability to recognize faces ,some slurred speech and ability to move all 4 limbs.

Some members here also participate over on DFO,so you may or may not know about this tragedy.

I just thought we at the VDF could sent best wishes and prayer his way.He has a long road ahead to a still ,uncertain recovery.

Lets help a brother out. Thanks guys.

Steve,

Geez, I am so sorry to hear this. If you write to him, tell him I'm rooting for him to have a speedy recovery. I will keep a good thought for him and his family. He's got some rough road ahead of him. I lost my dad to a stroke in 2004.

Thank you for letting us know...

John

Too many great drums to list here!

From what I read on another forum he knew is BP was high, I want to say something like 190/100? As a former smoker of 25 plus years and a connoisseur of fast food, when my BP got up to 135/90 I had to make some changes.

Unhealthy lifestyles catch up to everyone sooner or later. I wish him well and send good vibes to his family.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....
