Any single one of those drums in that condition would be an incredible find. To have an entire set is amazing. Thanks for sharing!
I got a 1940's TH&C snare 20+ years ago for $100 locally!
The guy said he had the rest of the set in Kalamazoo.Mi...
Kept trying to get it...no luck..
Said his grandpa used it with Lawrence Welk etc..
A buddy in Kazoo heard about the kit..sans snare!..Storm Trooper
I had a guy in Washington trade me 3 Gretsch 20,13,16 RB kits with matching snares for it.around 20 years ago...12 drums for 1!
In those sizes..they were probably some kits he just wanted to off!
Thanks for all the compliments on the set! I really feel good about getting the extra 13" & the 16" floor Tom to add to the set & round it out. and the cool part of,it is that I got the drums from a member here on the forum by looking up old posts for top hat & cane. Thanks Pete!
Just wondering if you play that kit, it would be quite a sensation at a big band gig!
I'm so tired of watching big bands with drummers that have modern kits, 22, 12,13,16 etc.

I feel you on that one! You shouldn't play big band music with a bass drum less than 26"...
I must have looked at this picture a dozen times in the last two days.
Gorgeous !
Beautiful looking kit! I think I'd be afraid to constantly smack on those wooden hoop mounted style toms though. Congrats on such a wonderful kit!
Nice! But I hear that wrap is going out of styleLaughing H
