Here is a quite unique drum - 1920s Liberty / Slingerland Tone Flange Snare Drum. This drum was essentially Slingerland made but sold through the Liberty Musical Instrument Corporation. The black diamond pearl wrap is in good condition with the only issue being some missing wrap near the batter bearing edge due to the oversize shell. Often, the rings in modern heads are cut to accept this oversize shell characteristic. The wring is included in the sale, however there is no tone flange with the drum. Mike Curotto has had a reproduction run of these in the past made, so they are still available. The clips and rods are also replacements. The drum is quite stunning and has serious mojo! Also - it is still playable without the flange and actually sits modern heads better without it.
Open to trade ideas.
