Professional finishing

From beef

How weird you posted this..I just got some XP8 shells and the wrap is horrid. I was thinking, where could I find someone I trust to just clear coat the shells.... And this post pops up...What would a 12,13,16,22 kit cost me? Thanks for your time!

I just did some xp8's, great sounding drums. Do you have the wrap off? My shells were not very suitable for finishing because they had several joints in the outer plys. They might look OK if you were to use a very dark stain and shading lacquer. The best bet would be a solid color. Figure about 100 per drum for labor and material, or an equvilent trade.

Thank you!

hi jeff, was just looking at the beautifull work you do. i really like the blue kit and the purple kit too, but like the blue one best coz of the setup of the kit. do you still have the blue kit? http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=23892

Robyn, thank you! No I don't, I sold that one. But I can produce that color again.

I am working on duco finishes at the moment, having fun with the spray gun!

Thank you!

Thanks a bunch Scott! That blue color is a dye that is no longer available. I have enough for one small kit, I think.

Thank you!
