Rogers XP8 KOA

These drum's are Rogers Big R , 1980 XP8's Wrapped in real KOA veneer. Script badges were installed for a better look than the "Big R" foil badge.

Hey! Finally made it to the Gallery!

This is one of the best wrap jobs I have ever seen on a kit. It rarely, if ever, happens that a kit is worth more -after- it has been rewrapped... but this kit is one of the exceptions. Great job on these, Jeff.

Too many great drums to list here!

Thank you John. I posted a picture here because Tommy asked me to do it.

So very well done! Indeed those drums are worth more than they would be in great factory condition, or at least they should be.

Glad to see this pic in the gallery. Remember the scene in "This is Spinal Tap" when Nigel Tufnel has a guitar so awesome he's never played it and he tells Rob Reiner not to touch or even look at it? Jeff's kit would be the drumset version!

Absolutely awesome! I followed the refinishing thread on this kit and am totally amazed..........not just in the beauty of this kit, but the in the quality of your workmanship.

Woke up this morning, turned on the computer and saw all of these very nice replies to the gallery picture. I must say that is nice way to start out the day. Thanks for giving my day a happy start, you guys are great! The drums sound awsome, I love them! You might think the concert toms are in a weird location but I like them there. I did not care for them intruding on the hi hats.

Have a good day, I am.

Thank you!
