Hey guys,

So this was my first attempt at a resto on an old rogers kit, just thought I would share a couple photos.. thanks to the peeps who gave me advice, help, and sold me the parts I needed along the way lol! The 2nd pic was after the 1st coat of winmax stain, and the last pic is after about 10 coats!

Nice work, Regularjohn... (All we need now is a "Shortjohn" to complete the trio).

I like the dark stain against the chrome..

Cheers

Ya that dark color really makes the chrome pop out. Very nice job on those, and the Acro fits in very nice too.

Thank you!

I agree, that dark stain looks very classy and I like what you did with the bass hoops. Do you need collets and spurs for the bass? If so I have some.

Well done! As previously stated, the chrome looks great against the dark stain. The Acrolite fits right in, too!
