[COLOR="DarkRed"]Are they badged 'Pearl" ?
Typically a 60's Pearl would only be worth a few hundred as Beatnik said.
BUT...that is a RARE Japanese '60's ripple finish. Not made anymore; can't even get it custom-made.
The rarer Japanese wraps, those are worth a bit more. I'd say $375-500 in good shape if the hardware's included. Given the missing hoops and the missing portion of ply in the bass, it drops back down to the $250 range.
Replacement hoops coast about $10-15 for toms.snare, and $15-25 for a bass hoop at drummaker.com.
Tell me...how many lugs does the FT have?
What's the asking price ? Also..are you buying to resell, or to make it your kit ?
Looks to be the 6-ply luan shells, painted interiors. If you are willing to do some sanding to those bearing edges, it'll be a pretty good sounding old kit. Not overly loud or overly punchy; but nice and sorta woody vintage-y sounding. Do that and you will have a very cool, repsectable gigging kit...unless you play headbangin'-death-metal-thrash-sh#t-sound-behind-a-wall-of-noise-and-guitars-spitting-beer-on-the-audience sorta music...in which case...these won't cut it.
If you had access to a drumshop or cabinet shop that could recut the batter edges to a sharper 45 degree, then that kit would really start to sing.
But regardless, it's a cool old kit w/ some serious MOJO...and the wrap is on the rare side.
