Star Picollo?

Loading...

Friends:

Would any of you happen to know if Star ever made a picollo snare? I can't recall ever seeing one in the old Tama catalogs but, I may be wrong. I know that Tama made them but, that was after 1974. Thank you very much!

Good question, Brian.

I think that piccolo snares were not common in those days. Wonder if any other producer had one in the 60's to early 70's?

The only smaller snare Star produced was the one for the 'Midget Drums'. Their kid's set included a 10" x 4" snare drum, which can't be considered to be a serious piccolo snare drum.
