Super Sensitive wires and guards

I need some supersensitive wires and 2 strainer guards. For my 1979 Super Sensitive snare....

I'm assuming you're talking about a Ludwig Super Sensitive?

Gibraltar makes a nice set of aftermarket wires, as does Puresound. The Puresounds have been discontinued, but you can find them at many online stores and eBay.

As to the snare guards, Ludwig offers them. I found mine on eBay!

Yes its a Ludwig. I found this at guitar centers website. I wasnt sure if they would work on my snare.

The SC-363E snare strainer fits Ludwig Super Sensitive snare drums with non-individually adjustable snare wire systems and a Yamaha model which utilizes split snares. $16.99. There are several pure sound wires for $44.95

I have seen the guards on Ebay as well for 10.99 ea., but sometimes you can get a better deal here. Ill just order new. I will end up wit a $94 total investment on this snare. Thanks

I just ordered the wires from guitar center and got the guards on ebay.
