Sonor Teardrops, price?

What would you pay for one in good condition? (no major defects, not mint but good condition) No pics, It's not mine. I'm thinking of buying one in 20" 13" 18". What would you pay?

The 18" FT is a bit on the rare side but not unheard of in teardrops. I would say between $500 and $700 for the condition you describe assuming everything is complete. Also somewhat dependent on the finish and shell make up - with re-rings on the higher side.

Wrapped t-drops $500-$800. I paid $1350 for rosewood 20,13,16 in very good condition. No re rings. See my post in the gallery.

Ah yes, rosies are a different story.....I thought of that while posting but didn't include it.

I paid $600.00 for my 1965 20,13,16,14sn Teardrop kit with hardware. I cleaned them up, replaced the heads, painted the bass drum hoops, and ended up with a great kit. They are one of my favorite kits and very well engineered. Sonor Teardrop kits are WAY undervalued and are a bargin. The kit you described seems odd is the ft is an 18".

From what I have seen in a 1965 vintage Sonor catalogs (http://www.sonormuseum.com/1965/65catpage3.html), Teardrop era sets were standard as 13-16-20. Both a 22" bd and 18" tom were options.

I recently paid $650 for 22-13-16 in Ruby Pearl in excellent shape. Found the matching snare 3 weeks later.

You have a pretty rarer tom there I think. What wrap is on it? Any change of a pic?

Turns out it was a 16", it was just a typo and he's sending pictures. He's asking 10.000 SEK (approx. $1250) but drum stuff is a tad more expensive here... (a brand new Sonor Delite snare is 7200 SEK for example)
