Thread sizes for ludwig black plastic hercules t handles??

Loading...

I think these were only offered on certain kits from certain years..

I was wondering if any one knew exactly what thread sizes

Were used for the following :

Hercules cymbal stands ( i think there would be 2 sizes per stand?)

Bass drum spurs

Diamond plate handle to tighten the tom mount pole

Hercules hi hat stands

Hercules snare drum stands

Hercules drum throne

Any help on this would be appreciated...

I am looking mainy for the sizes used on

The bass drum spurs and cymbal stqnds

And the diamond plate mount

I see these for sale on the internet but never know really

Which ones to get?

Thanks!!!!!

I could be wrong, but I believe they are the same thread size as the "Mickey Mouse" screws.

1/4" x 20 "Standard" (Coarse) Thread for:

The tripod spread on stands (any stand)

The top of the tripod base section (any stand)

The top of the middle stand section (Any stand except as noted below)

Cymbal Tilters/Tom Angle Adjusters

Tom Post height adjuster

1/4" x 28 "Fine" thread for:

Hi-Hat Clutch

Top of the middle section of a cymbal stand (flat base only with the "Solid rod" top section)

Speed King Beater Height Adjuster

I'm not sure on the bass drum spurs. I would assume fine thread, but I am not 100% sure. It just seems that when the screws tighten directly against another metal piece (as opposed to some sort of insert), Ludwig used fine thread.

I will hunt down my mickey mouse wing screws and see if they match up! Thanks for the tip! Can anyone confirm this as well?
